Hawks look for sixth straight win in Houston

The Atlanta Hawks (19-20) are on a five-game win streak and looking for number six when they face the reeling Houston Rockets (11-26) Tuesday evening. The Rockets have lost 16 straight games with their last win coming Feb. 4 over the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Hawks will look to get back to .500 and for their sixth straight win under interim coach Nate McMillan. This is another extremely winnable game for Atlanta who continue their efforts to climb the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks rank 10th in league with a +1.0 net mark after a pair of comfortable wins over the weekend. Atlanta now ranks 10th in offensive rating and 22nd on the defensive end.

I've been a Hawk fan too long to believe this. Grand daughter, you know better than to take anything the Hawks do as a guaranteed thing. We should win. I really, really hope we win.

Don't let the thought enter your mind...I agree just win, but I'd be just as pissed to see them hang around in the second half.

This game is the beginning of the most important part of the season.
10 games on the road is hard, and it will finish on a Back-to-back with NOP, one of the few teams under .500 in the second game... which will difficult to win.
They have to manage to at least 5 on 10, and the easiest way is certainly to beat the 4 other teams at or under .500 : HOU, OKC, SAC and maybe GSW, and maybe NOP (average of .410 with GSW at .500)
They need 3 or 4 on this 5, and 1 or 2 on the other teams : LAL, LAC, DEN, PHO and SAS (.626 on average)

73-58 at the half, and once again, a big impact from the bench.
They come from being horrible in the 4th and with no bench production to very good in the fourth and a great bench (both can be link as if the bench stays in the game, it's less pressure on starters in the 4th)

McMillan is for sure responsible, but I think Bogi back and Knight and Rondo playing help a lot

4th quarter starting a bit better, and Snell is really good and fighting. He followed the player who set the pick but keep the right distance to be able to touch the ball when Huerter made Oladipo go on his left.

Snell ! 5th 3pointer (on 6). He's a beast in this right corner.
