Trae looks fine standing and dancing around on the sidelines. Maybe we'll get some miracle news today and he's available. He does have a history of coming back very early from an ankle sprain.

As good we look without him, any chance we can move Trae for a top-4 pick this summer?

should we also trade Collins and Capela? Hawks are 7-2 without Collins and 6-2 without Capela?

Maybe we can get 3 first round picks if we trade all three of them?

Makes sense doesn't it ....NOT!
How'd we look when Trae went out vs NYK. It took a Herculian effort by Lou Will for us to pull out the win vs the Bucks. Can we expect this every game?

Hehehe :rofl2:

I figured that would stir up some emotions amongst the fanbase.

But, ummmm.....

The Hawks have a plus-2.6 net rating with Young on the bench since the coaching change and have outscored opponents by an incredible 8.3 points per 100 possessions when Bogdanovic plays and Young sits. Bogdanovic has also helped Atlanta go 5-0 in the games Young has missed since the coaching change, averaging 26.8 points and six 3-pointers per game in those wins.
ESPN Insider

it's something the decision-makers have to at least consider.

7-2 without Collins, 4-1 without Capela since the coaching change.

Lou Williams has flu-like symptoms and will not play vs. Detroit on Monday.

The good news for Atlanta is that Kris Dunn (knee) will make his season debut. With Trae Young still sidelined with an ankle issue, that means Brandon Goodwin will get all the run he can handle is an excellent short-term pickup.

Dunn will probably be on the lowest mins restriction known to man  Good to have everyone getting back. Gives me hope Hunter and Reddish will be full go by the playoffs.

I did not see the game. Looks like the smalls had a off shooting night. Any reason JC did not get any more shots?
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Real bad game. It happens, but it looks like they were all thinking "we are only 10pts behind, don't worry, we will beat them in the 4th as usual" and ending up taking bad shots, no ball movement...

Better loose against DET than Vs MIA, BOS... or NYK, but as they lost Vs NYK, it was an opportunity to take back the 4th spot and get one game above them.
Hope to never watch again a game like that this season, unless in the last game of the regular season in the case a L or a W doesn't change our spot.

One positive note : Dunn was already showing good defense, even if offense will need more time

My wife has always been a casual fan, but over the past few years she has become more of a hardcore basketball fan. She's always interested in learning new details about the game and the NBA. Last week she learned about 10 day contracts. Recently I've been trying to explain pick n roll/pick n pop to her. Yesterday before the game I explained to her what a trap game was and why we were most likely going to lose to Detroit. I hate it when the lessons work out perfectly like that.
