So... OK, PHI is better, and they are favorites especially without Hunter and Reddish, and it's a very physical team, but 58% on shooting AND 39 Free Throws attempts ?
And they are the ones asking to be allowed to play physically... when Embiid falls, they think first it's a foul while he's the best at flopping.
Rivers asking the ref to protect him because he's injured ? what ? it's their decision to play him injured, no way Capela has to start his move differently because Embiid is injured.
If one team is not allowed to play physically, it's ATL, not PHI

I get that they are a driving teams so there might be more contact, but the issue isn't just that they are getting more free throws. On one end, Embiid rakes the arms of our guys for no foul. On the other end we barely touch him and it is a whistle. You can't allow physical play for only one team. Consistency is key. I want a ump to have the same strike zone for both teams, so the same applies here. On one possession Embiid got the ball at the top of the key and started his drive and they blew the whistle before any contact was made.

We all know that Trae gets ticky-tack foul calls (people seemed most upset about the Simmons one, but imo, that was one was legit. Simmons came off of the screen beat, Trae stopped, Simmons ran up behind him). The difference is no one on there teams does what Trae does, and we try what Embiid does.
