Hawks @ Bucks -- Chapter 5: Parabellum

Post#1 » by Jamaaliver » Thu Jul 1, 2021 3:11 am

Hawks and Bucks tied at 2-2 for a chance at NBA Finals

Image

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday after undergoing an MRI on his injured left knee. In spite of that fact, the Milwaukee Bucks face a harsh reality: either they find a way to win two of the next three games, or Giannis will have a few extra weeks to rest and rehabilitate this offseason.

The Hawks have their own injury issues.

Star guard Trae Young missed Game 4 with a bone bruise in his right ankle, and Capela took an elbow in the face late in the game. Hawks coach Nate McMillan didn’t have an update on either player when he spoke to the media Thursday morning.

They won't play Giannis game 5 obviously, and would get heavily scrutinized if they play him game 6 or 7. Hawks team have shown they can capture and recapture momentum this entire playoffs, time to run off 2 games here.

Got banned for the last 24 hours for liking a few pre-game posts on the Milwaukee game 4 thread. Just shows you how pathetic their fan base and mods are. Pathetic fans/mods usually relates to the team they cheer for being pathetic making the fans/mods insecure.

LETS BEAT THESE PATHETIC LOSERS TONIGHT! GO HAWKS! CAW CAW! CAW CAW!

Going forward I hope you avoid those situations. You never know what action will be taken.

I must admit this series now terrifies me.
I can't believe I reached this point but I never expected us to be so close to making the NBA Finals. This year seems to be the year to win due to how difficult the journey has been.

While I'm use to the letdowns by Atlanta sports I would love to see the positive energy continue amongst Atlanta fans. Please, Please WIN!

I feel the same way. The game 4 win was the first time where it really dawned on me that the Atlanta Hawks can make the freaking NBA Finals and I have been super nervous/excited the past two days.

If they could find a way to get a win tonight and host game 6 with a chance to make the NBA Finals....oh boy.

Go Hawks!

Kevin Chouinard: Danilo Gallinari was asked who would be Bucks’ leader if Giannis can’t go tonight: “I think that if you ask my daughter this question – and she is 7 months (old) – she is going to give you the right answer: Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton.” pic.twitter.com/S8vcg5YP3U

It’s official.

Now we just need Capela to be healthy enough to go. Our front court will devour theirs.

no surprise there. It's an eye injury. Pretty sure he doesn't even use his eyes when he's shooting so shouldn't affect him too much.

Great news!
We need to strike early and quick like we did last game without Trae.
