It's a very late thread but whatevs.
Good 1st half then the wheels fell off. Gallo got injured and was out the 2nd half. Trae got injured in the 3rd and was hobbled the rest of the game. He did a great job running the offense and setting up his teammates who couldn't buy a bucket in the 2nd half.
Also:
So many reasons why things went downhill in the 2nd half.

1. Starting TLC and going small was a garbage move to start the 3rd after the Gallo injury.

2. Hunter and Huerter a combined 4 points in the 3rd. Ended with 12 points combined in the 2nd half after scoring 25 in the 1st half.

3. Bogi scored 12 points in the 2nd half but he was chucking and was miserable on defense.

4. With Trae limited. Nobody stepped up and took over

5. OO with 17 minutes, smh. Play him more minutes Nate.

Meanwhile, back with College Park, Skyhawks win 131-124. Jalen Johnson had 29 points, 19 rebounds and 8 assists. Too bad that he and Cooper are not good enough to play for the Hawks !!

Trae couldn't shoot last night but he's going to have those game every once in awhile. Shake it off

That's right, but we can't rely on even the best player to win games.
Starters were still neutral Vs CHA, so it was not a so much important problem if the bench had been better like they were most of the times since some weeks.
They won lately more games thanks to our bench players being better than opponent bench guys, more than our starters dominating the opponents.

So this game was simple: no good bench, a loss. They would have needed starters to dominates more to had a chance.

Now, these injuries are killing this team too, at least last year, it was mainly one long period for a player, and then a come back (except Hunter who came back for some games and NYK first round and got injured again), but there was more stability, not coming back, injured again, coming back, inured again,... like this season

I don't know what to think now. They just won for the first time (out of 6 or 7 if I'm not wrong) a game to reach .500, then they lost Vs a direct opponent, which counts like two L Vs other teams.
It was also a chance to be near BKN
