Who you got?
Who gets the boot?

- I've wanted Alec Burks for a couple of years now.
- DeWayne Dedmon has value as a third Center.
- Kevin Love could fit perfect as the backup PF in that Danilo Gallinari role.
And all three could help with spacing the floor.

I would pick one these two for sure, in this order:
1st, Love: big, can rebound and hit 3s, and great FTs shooter
2nd, Gay: not played a lot, not a good season at 3pts but he was always good before so a bit strange, doesn't turn the ball over
He certainly still focus, having the best Net rating of UTA this season, and by far (+9.6, Markannen being second with +4.1), even if he played more against bench players, it says a lot in this case
Also a good FTs shooter
After that, maybe Ross but that's all.
Dedmon was horrible with MIA this season, too much of a gamble it would change here. Same for Barton with WAS

Love would be THE perfect buyout target, but I can't see a reason why Cleveland would buy him out.

I'd take Rose and cut Holiday.

Rose can be a interesting pick, but right now, in efficiency difference:
- ATL backcourt is 10th in the league at +3.6 (+0.7 at PG and +2.9 at SG)
- ATL frontcourt is 24th in the league at -6.1 (-1.3 at SF, -2.9 at PF and -1.9 at C)
So I would pick a big guy over a guard if there's a good one available.
That's right that I don't see why CLE would cut Love, but if they do, I would call him in a second

Here we go! We need to sign him, absolutely!
Kevin Love Finalizing Buyout With Cavs, Heat Expected To Be InterestedKevin Love is finalizing a buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Sources add that the Heat are expected to register interest for Love.
Love, who was recently removed from the team's rotation, was currently in the final year of a 4-year, $120 million extension signed in 2018.

At this point, I'd offer him a starting role next to Capela...

This starting 5 would play almost no defense and have
terrible advanced metrics...and they'd probably still have the same record as the Hawks do right now.

Except Love has not been good since the calender flipped to 2023. Doesn't he also have an injury of some kind.
Also, Tony is avoiding the Luxury Tax. Currently $1.6 mil under. $500k incentive for DJ for hitting 125 3s, he currently has 110.
