Without Brown, I think this could be a heck of a series. Since the Bey trade, Atlanta bench has been special. We just need our starters to play like they did before all star break and we could shock the world

We need to crash the glass against Boston like we did the heat.

I don't know, Celtics are a much better offensive team than Miami and dominate from 3-pt range. They'll be playing 5 out offense all night every game.

Gotta stay home on their shooters. This is a series tailor made for Okongwu.

This series is going to be a straight shoot out.

I think Quin is our secret weapon. He'll have a chance to add some new wrinkles that has not been scouted by Boston. He'll have a singular focus to implement some stuff.

This is possible. Miami learned the hard way tonight

Trae Young has made 3 of his last 28 three point attempts.

He has 18 turnovers in his last three games.

We will need him to figure things out before this matchup April 15th.

This will be even more useful approach against the sweet shooting Celtics.

The more I think about it, you may be right. Horford is a notoriously poor rebounder. On offense especially, it may be worth it for Hawks to focus on getting offensive putbacks for easy buckets.

After the surprising win against the Heat, now Boston seems like an impossible task.

But after watching the Heat game you realize that it was not like they did things poorly, but that we did great things on defence and protecting the rim and chasing them inn every action.

We match up really badly against the Celtics, as they are versatile and can shoot and also has a big and strong PG in Smart who can post up easily against Young. Bu then we have some strengths that they do not have and a bench that can contribute enormously.

Celtics will win the series, but if Cap and Kong can average +20rpg against old man Horford and broccoli Rob, then Hawks can make the series interesting.

As this kicks off, I forgot about the weeknigh games all stretched out so they can have a standalone game. I think after game 4, they'll put some on NBAtv.

He's such a turnover machine, luckily it didn't cost them. I believe he's first in total turnovers, and may have 25 or 30 more than he 2nd place player.

Agreed. I wanted Miami and Milwaukee this post season, both for revenge and the matchup against offensively deficient teams. Boston will be a challenge. But they also have a rookie HC. It wouldn't be the first time a new Coach got outsmarted by a veteran coach in the playoffs.

And sadly, I continue to wonder how many points our opponents have scored from his turnovers, and missed three attempts.

I think that we finally have a coach that will get this team to gel. Hawks are a very deep team with a lot of talent thanks to TS's great work. Coaching, development and youth has been a huge problem.

Snyder has the intelligence to make it work. Help Trae mature and become the player he needs to be and get all this talent to gel and develop.

This Boston series will be tough but I'm very excited to see the offseason moves and Quinns team next season.

In the meantime a defeat of the Celts in this series would be a sort of miracle that I would love to see

The refs have put a stigma on Hunter. They don't respect his ability to draw fouls and are quick to call fouls on him. It's pretty similar to OO except they give him calls on offense.

They are going to shoot and shoot more. Just crash the boards and limit their offensive rebounds. Tatum and Brown are going to do their thing. Limit guys like Brogdan and White they can draw this series out.
