The season that has been the roller coaster has ended. Exorcize the Miami demon in the Play-in
Played well in the playoffs.
Happy Quin came on board early...looking forward to next season.

This loss is Trae's fault. The rest of the team did there job and kept the score with in 10pts with 5min left for Trae to do his magic, but Trae wasn't able to go Jordan, or Butler and close out the game like we all expected of him and his contract.

This is a result of a coach not knowing his players limitations...and also poor roster construction.

The Cs are more experienced and have a better roster than us right now.
We need to find options to play smaller.
Either find a shooting center, either try with Collins at 5 sometimes with Hunter and Bay or Johnson.
The bench is solid and cheap, which is the key for success in this league when you have a good core of starters, which we have.
I would not change many things.
Just explore a couple of minor trades or find a good center other than Capela or as a complement to Capela's game.

Trae getting on fire is a double edged sword in the first half, Hawks has to ride him and he run out of ammo in the 2nd half when they made most of their killings since G3.
In G5, Celts tried to prevent a close game by slowing down the game to keep the lead and played conservative. In G6, Celts paced themselves and stepped at the gas pedal in crunch time. Celts also tweaked their late game offense and confused Hawks defensive rotations.
Overall, I find the Hawks werent as hungry this game compared to the last two games. I find them ball watching a lot, leading to weak transition D and there were a lot of time when they were slow in rotating to the shooters. Maybe fatigue also played a big factor with this.

Disappointing results but it was a a thriller. I hope we have an active off-season.
John Collins was very good in this series. I hope we figure out our future plans with him or without him. If he's not going to be with us I hope he plays within a system that he will be used properly.
