Having thought he might command +$40 mil in year 1 of new deal....$25 mil is child's play in this market.

He needs to work on his 3 point shooting, if he got closer to 38%-39% he would be a beast and a much bigger threat.

Great signing regardless, FVV getting 3/130 vs Murray at 4/120 is a steal.

So, considering we signed DeJounte to this long term contract extension, do we even believe the rumor below -- that Hawks were trying to move him to TOR for Siakam? Is that part of the calculus on why DJM took the guaranteed $30+ million per year instead of angling for more in UFA next summer?

From the Squawk rumor mill...Murray was asked for Hawks declined...Hawks offered Hunter as the main piece with Capela re-routed elsewhere and whatever received for Capela sent to Toronto along with Hunter.
Masai was asking for too much for a rental.
