The Matchup that no one will be Watching

Image

The Toronto Raptors (16-29) will visit the Atlanta Hawks (18-27) as both teams try to break their current losing streaks.

The Toronto Raptors are currently last in the Atlantic Division and they hold the 12-spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They're just 4-11 in their last 15 games and have lost four-straight heading into this one. With just one win in their last nine, the Raptors will have their backs against the wall until they can come out with a win.

The Atlanta Hawks are currently fourth in the Southeast Division and they're the current 10-seed in the Eastern Conference. They're also seeing some struggles going 4-8 in their last 12 games. They dropped their last game at home as Luka Doncic made history with 73 points, so the Hawks will be looking to wipe that performance from their memory and start fresh with a win here.

Indeed. After the recent shenanigans and tension, sounds like Hawks have shut him down until the trade deadline.

Makes sense from his perspective. He's played the good soldier even though he clearly has been checked out for a while now.

24 point differential from the 3pt line. Could really use AJs shooting, sigh!

Not great that we ended last minute heroics just to steal a win against an undermanned, 11 seeded Raptors Team.

But this was a fun game with a satisfying finish.
Nice balanced scoring.
Team still managed to put up numbers without the 3-ball falling.
Nice late game execution.

I have faith that Trae and Quin will get this sorted out by next season.

For those that didn't get to watch: Hawks started out on fire.

Sadly, we no longer have a backup PG or SG with DeJounte headed out the door. (Where are you Kobe B?)

Saddiq's taken a beating in social media lately. Good to see him have a dominant performance and game winning play.

Good on ya, SB!
