This was my general overview of ZR on the Squawk a week ago:
I know there are concerns about Risacher's athletic testing at the combine, buuuuuuuuuuuut.........I think he still has functional in game NBA athleticism. What I like about him is the quickness with which he makes decisions with the ball and without, in constant motion - unlike someone like Hunter who has to catch the ball and diagnose before making a move.
I'd play him at SG to start, he will have a length advantage over most. A taller Bogi perhaps. His off ball movement, quick release and perimeter defense is what Trae needs next to him.

If we play him at shooting guard to start I would like to see him bring the ball up the court some. Star talent in the making.

Well you see, Reddish seemed to have functional AA as well. His tests indicate he won't have a high ceiling and guys have to hit that to become what the Hawks need.

Otherwise they end up as Hunter, Collins, Huerter, etc. at the end of the day. Hawks were better served trading out of this draft.

The difference with Reddish was between the ears and getting bad advise from his handlers.

I would have taken Sarr, but on the other hand, the Finals have shown us that winning and getting to the finals is all about guards and guard play.... Tatum, Luka, Edwards, Joker

Sarr would have been a better pick, but centers don't take teams to the finals anymore.

Zac has to start, he is the future. Hawks have to develop Zac from day one and build up his confidence. Hunter is out, he had his shot and failed at being the start that the Hawks needed him to become.

Anyway the Hawks can get Diaw or Batum as an assistant coach?

That's what I thought they would do
Had a dream last night that they traded for a late first and future first and drafted someone I'd never heard of....
Bienvenue Zacc

Former #1 pick Anthony Edwards came off the bench for the first 17 games of his career. He doesn't lack for confidence. Just saying.
