Probably not wanting to put max effort on defense. What a shtty draft, not even a pick in 30s in horrible draft.

Yeah...given how averse Landry seems to be on making bad trades...seems like they were just ready t dump him for literally anything.

(I really wish we had traded out of #1 last night. Even for just 2nd rounders in this crappy draft.)

Dealt with family issues, mental problems, some locker room troubles with a particular player so I hear, health issues, but most importantly never fit Quin and his system.

I think I posted an article that indicated he had mental health issue in highschool/college. Seems it reared it's head sometime after Quin showed up.

I wish AJ the best - seems like a good, well-intentioned kid, and no one should have to deal with a family tragedy like he did. I'd completely understand if he needs to take some off from work to find himself.

Some new perspective on this trade.

It may end up giving him the fresh start he needs, but the motivation was likely financial for Atlanta.
