Jalen Johnson Struggling with life as a #2 option

He's officially the team's second best player...and the adjustment has not been easy thus far.
Team's are now designing defensive principles specifically to stop him from getting to his spots.
Hawks offense is struggling as opposing players double Trae and make anyone else beat them.
Thoughts?
Concerns?
Predictions?

I'd like to see him develop a mid range jumper (10-15 feet), a floater and an expanded post game.
He should be dominating switches in the post at an immensely high level.
And when teams put up a wall to prevent him from getting to the rime, he needs to be able to rise up and shoot over the defenders in the lane.

Just like in real life, it takes a minute to adjust to a new role/job.

We were also playing the league's best D and a top 2 or 3 team and missing two of our top five players.
A lot of doom and gloom articles out there after the loss talking of our deficiencies ...ect
We knew this was a very new and youg team coming into the season. It will take time but so far 2-1 and the Wiz coming up is looking quite nice
