Passing on Ingrham is best.

I doubt our FO is dumb enough to be interested.

Posting what I said on another site regarding the supposed BI interest:

I think figured out the BI angle!!!

This would be a trade to clear Bogi's salary off the books for next season.

I don't think the Hawks have any interest in resigning BI, but what will happen is this:

They'll work out a FA SnT with the team of his choosing, Hawks will get a fake 2nd and a large TPE of $35 million to replace the current DJ $27 mil TPE. Then for the 3rd (JC, DJ, BI) straight off-season, we'll have the largest TPE in NBA history and do nothing of real value with it.

I disagree. If the cost is correct, than Ingram could be a beneficial piece to add. If we dump Bogi and say Capela, then Ingram could see it as a way to help increase his value for a new contract. If he walks at the end, oh well we don't loose anything.

With you on that, jay.

Windhorst dropped this bomb on Friday and then the NBA world went haywire...leaving us twisting in the wind with absolutely no updates.

If accurate, this marks the second, national, credible sportswriter linking Atlanta to Brandon Ingram.

A move like that just might save our season. I'm guessing BI would come off the bench until he learns the intricacies of the Quin Snyder offense.

We all know what Brandon Ingram is capable of IF he actually plays. I am curious to know what his value is.

Due to our franchise not being a serious contender, we must do what we can, and acquire talent that can be moved in the future.

I assume Brandon Ingram will receive $40m per season when he signs his next contract.

Ultimately, I hope Zion is in play for us.

BI would start at 4 next to OO and ZR. He would likely get off on offense with Trae's gravity on there. If he plays at an all star level, his snt prospects should be very decent, atleast more than what the Hawks would give up.

BI at the 4 to me seems like trouble. He won't do what is expected of most power forwards (4 spot). He will venture out to the three point line leaving OO to take on far too much heat inside.

Zacch as a 19 year old needs to fill out more and play inside. I expect that aspect of his game to come with time, as he fills out more, and strengths up.

If we go with the three of them starting I believe it will be fine short term until next season.

Nikola Vucevic is expected to command mulitple second round picks but the Bulls want a first round pick. Mulitple second round picks seems more ideal.

So, if Ingram cost more, why should we pursue him over Vucevic?

My guess is because Vucevic is under contract for an additional year.

Ingram is an attractive trade target because he's an expiring contract.

While New Orleans attempts to throw Ingram on us, I hope Landry is inquiring about Zion, because he's the piece we need from them.

It makes sense and I'm on board if Ingram is our main option. I expect him to not be a Hawk longterm but watching him work with Trae intrigues me.

Depending on what we give up
