I just hope these Magic players don't injure anymore Hawks players: Vit and Nance were the recipient of some questionable antics last game with both ending up with fractures: back and knee respectively. Plus an elbow to Mo's nose.

Trae puts us on his back with very little help. 38 points and only 6 assist since teammates aren't able to make their shots after Trae created for them.

Yep. Seems to be a trend. Trae can't outgun all of Paolo, Franz and Cole all by himself.

I really question why Mo Gueye is our starting PF right now.
We should be leaning more on Niang, Levert and Mann as viable depth pieces to assist Trae.

Crazy as it might seem but the Orlando Magic just won back-to-back games for the first time since December 23. It’s been rough. I’ll tell you what though, it wasn’t easy. They were down 19 early in the 2nd quarter and it looked like Atlanta was gonna steamroll. The problem is, they couldn’t make a shot… especially the easy ones. The Hawks were 17-of-39 at the rim (43.6%) and 19-of-28 (67.9%) at the free throw line (48.1% TS). You know how hard it is to go 17-of-39 at the rim?! It’s a miracle they only lost by six. The Hawks are 1-9 this season with 50.0% TS or worse. Forgive me, just realized how stupidly obvious that stat is. Mo Gueye (2 points, 2 rebounds) started at the 4 and played 15 minutes. Clint Capela (3 points, 18 minutes) also wasn’t a fake active this time around.

Wendell Carter Jr. (9 points, 15 rebounds) returned to the Magic starting lineup and played 32 minutes. He’s averaging 30.5 minutes in his last five starts. Paolo Banchero scored 20 of his 36 in the first half. It’s Paolo’s seventh time scoring 30+ this season. God, I still can’t get over how Orlando shot 24.0% (6-25) from three and 68.4% (26-38) from the free-throw line and still won. There was a lot of bad officiating in this one too. The Hawks were issued three techs, including one by Trae Young, who had a few things to say about the refs after the game…

That would be John Conley. Hawks are 4-8 in games Conley has worked, Magic are 11-9. 11 wins is the highest win total a team has in career games he worked. Memphis and Orlando both have 11 wins.
