With five weeks left in the 2024-25 regular season, the Atlanta Hawks are 30-34, with the team holding a slender, half-game edge over both Miami and Orlando for the 7-seed in the Eastern Conference standings and sitting five games behind Detroit, who currently* hold the 6-seed.

Do we want to face Miami or Orlando in the play-In Tournament?
Do we want to avoid Cleveland or Boston in the Playoffs?
Do we have a legitimate shot at #6 seed and the Knicks as a postseason opponent?

Hawks have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way. I believe we can snag control of the 7 spot.

Any chance we can sneak into the top-6?

I want the 6-seed.

I honestly believe we can beat this Knicks team this year...even without Jalen Johnson healthy.

Knicks beat Miami yesterday.

We'll see if our Hawks can beat Charlotte tonight.

If Hawks can win all of their remaining games, they have now have an outside shot at the #6 seed....and avoiding the Play-In Tourney.

Starting to think we matchup better against Boston, and if we're going to have a magical run to the Finals, it would need to go through Boston, Milwaukee/NYK, and maybe the Pistons making a surprise run themselves.
