He's a yes at pick #22 for me.
I'd probably pass at pick #13...depending on who's still available at that point.
Thoughts on the wide bodied big man from Georgetown?

Sorber at 22nd is a no brainer.
My main issue with Sorber is his lack of range. I like some of the international talent better. If we want his defensive effort and scoring around the rim he needs to be on our draft board.
At 13th I need to see who's available.

And Sober is 19 years old while someone like Yaxel Lendeborg is 22 years old. Yaxel is a 2x All ACC, 2x ACC DPOY, and ACC Tournament MVP winner.
What they both have is effort on defense. I like both at 22nd but then I like Dammy Wolf too. There's so much depth but who stands out the most is key.
Is Sober someone you want us to pick at 22nd if he's available.

Is he worth be picked at 22. Sure.
Would he be the right pick for us, no. Not even close.
As long as we have Trae, let's continue to build around him. Risacher and Dyson was the 1st time in 7 years we finally got players who fit around Trae. Let's keep it up.

The warts of not being able to jump and slow feet has me on the fence even at 22. He'd need to over power guys like Zbo to really get the most out of his game.

I hope 22 is Drake Powell.
I assume 13 will be Khaman Maluach.

Georgetown freshman Thomas Sorber is drawing the interest of several teams in the lottery and also just outside the lottery ahead of Wednesday’s NBA Draft. The 6-foot-10 Trenton, N.J. native has attracted interest from the
Atlanta Hawks (which pick at Nos. 13 and 22) and San Antonio Spurs (No. 14) — the last two picks in the lottery. Sorber is also drawing attention from the Minnesota Timberwolves (No. 17) and Brooklyn Nets (Nos. 19, 26 and 27), NJ Advance Media has learned. – via Newark Star-Ledger
