Waiting on further announcements.

Asa Newell and Djurisic seem like locks.
Dylan Cardwell, too.

Anyone else?

Code: Select all

Eli John Ndiaye is a 21-year-old 6’8” Senegalese and Spanish power forward who has played for Real Madrid’s senior basketball team in the Liga ACB over the past three seasons. In Spanish league play, Ndiaye averaged 4.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game.

At Real Madrid, he teamed up with former Hawks Walter ‘Edy’ Tavares and Bruno Fernando. He’ll likely join the Atlanta Hawks’ Summer League team in Las Vegas next month along with first-round draftee Asa Newell, the only other current two-way player Daeqwon Plowden, and other young players.

I fly to Vegas July 14th to watch us play Houston.

I can't wait to see this team play. I also I hope KP shows up to support a game.

I expect Kobe to dominate for the first 2 days and be rested for the remainder of SL.
I expect Nikola to dominate and be in the running for MVP of SL.
I expect Asa Newell to clean up on the boards, block so many shots and provide a ton of highlight dunks while playing both the 4 and the 5 spots.

Can Jack or Jack snag a wing spot on the big club?

I can't imagine any good reason to invite a 27 year old or a 29 year old to play in Summer League...unless they were actual contenders to fill out the back of the bench at some point this season.

I do wish we ran out teams for both Summer Leagues.

Even if we needed to field 2 different squads.

Djurisic is more a guard than a forward, but he can play SF too, as well as SG and even PG.

Pretty tall pleyer, unlike other years and teams around the league.
A little bit too many, I believe (15).

Return to Atlanta Hawks
