Johnson, Hawks feeling better after win over Cavs

Things got tense during four-game losing streak.
The Hawks' captain and All-Star was looking for that good feeling again, that winning feeling.
And not just for himself, but for his team.
Now that the Hawks have regained a measure of that feeling

i hope this is a presuppose to Joe's new game, where he looks to take it to the basket first and jump shot second.

Now that I think about it, this seemed like the first game all season that Joe actually made it all the way to basket on drives (at least more than 1 time). I hope it becomes a trend, but it may have just been matchups.

Agreed, I hope he "gets it" and realizes he needs to keep driving the ball, all the way to the basket. He should know by now that most nights he's gonna be double teamed. And he's had nights before where he's played inside out, but he doesn't seem to play the same way twice. He has to take it to the defense and force the action.
It's the same for most stars in this league... when Lebron gets tired of the double teams, and he makes up his mind that he's going to drive the ball, that's what he does, and nobody can stop him. Joe's no Lebron, but he has to adopt that mentality if he ever hopes to be anywhere close.... he lacks that killer instinct to impose his will on a game.
