Joe Johnson is only a Second Option

I think Joe hold the ball to much at the end of the game and the other 4 player seem to just stand around.

I wouldn't mind if JJ just wasn't good enough. What is frustrating is that he doesn't appear to want to even try to be our #1 player. Every time we give him the ball and tell him to go to work he fails.

I'd swap JJ for Roy right now. How did he manage to slip through us? Oh yeah...

Haha even last year JJ for Roy would have been bad for Portland. I'd trade JJ for Calderon.

But that is because that is the play Woody calls for. he is calling for a JJ iso play. It would be different if the play was suppose to be intended for Marvin or Smith, but Woody is the one calling JJ iso plays every play for the last 5 minutes of the game.

JJ is 3rd in the league in 4th quarter scoring but somehow he fails "every time".
You are clueless.

uga on an iso play the player is allowed to pass the ball. He also is allowed to drive before there are 5-7 seconds left to shoot.

So you know what plays are called in the huddle? You know the Woodson says it is ok to shoot early in the clock?
Sure

I don't see how you can say Joe doesn't "want" to be our number 1 player. He had the ball every time down in the last 2 minutes. Missing shots=lack of determination on this board somehow.

It's not that hoops. It's that he doesn't force the issue. He holds the ball for too long and seems to lose a step defensively. He's tentative.
