Packing ZaZa's bags and flying him to Seattle
Zaza Pachulia
Lorenzen Wright: Expiring contract
For
Chris Wilcox: 6.7 million next year
Seattle saves roughly 2.7 million next year and Atlanta acquires a upgrade at the 5 to backup Al.
Not enough for Seattle?

It might have to be
Zaza, Lo, Chill
Wilcox and Wilkins (or Wally, which I wouldnt want).
It just depends on what they want to do.
You know how Wilkins usually plays like a god against us? Imagine if that worked for us if he was on our team.

Not enough for Seattle?
Zaza Pachulia
Shelden Williams
for
Chris Wilcox
That also works salary wise.

The Sonics are not going to throw away Chris Wilcox just to save a couple of dollars, so scratch both proposals by HMFFL.
I really like Josh Childress, but we already have Durant and Green at his positions and he'll be a RFA this summer, meaning that he'll ask for a contract and nobody knows if the Sonics would want to pay him the money he'll ask for.
You also don't have a 1st round pick in this years draft and therefore can't trade one till 2010, which makes a deal, that sends Wilcox to Atlanta, even less likely.
All things considered, i doubt that a deal sending Wilcox to Atlanta is a possibility, at least not as long as there isn't a 3rd team involved.
BTW: Petro is playing really solid the last couple of games, which also makes it less likely(especially for just expirings) that we'd give him up right now.

The only players that I've heard that Seattle wants to move are either Earl Watson or Luke Ridnour. That is primarily because both make over 6M a year. If we had made a move a few weeks ago we might of had a shot at getting Petro, but he's shown enough promise lately that they no longer would probably do that. Wilcox doesn't have a horrible deal, so they have no pressure to move him right now. I wish Seattle was desperate to shed salary, but they aren't.
Going to donkey punch a leprechaun!

Sure, we'd be willing to deal Thomas, if it's a deal we like.
Though, i don't really see what you could offer(Zaza isn't really what i'd want), that would make us trade him to you guys. Maybe if you'd take on Watson's contract as well, but i still don't know if we'd do that, when there are other playoff teams out there, that might be willing to upgrade our 2nd round pick to their 1st rounder or to send us a prospect in return.
BTW: 2nd round picks do not really interest us, cause we already have loads of them.

It just doesn't really helps the Sonics.
We already have guys at the pf spot(Collison, Wilcox and Green) and i don't see a thing Williams could provide us, that Collison couldn't.
We also need a shot blocker(because none of our bigs is a thread to blog/change shots) and Williams just isn't one.

That's true. Since KT is already an expiring I guess there is no point of giving him up for Zaza. And I think we can get more for Chillz if we shop him a little.
If they aren't interested in Shelden (who would be?) then it's probably a deal we can't make. That's a guy we really should have gone after last summer.
