For starters, Woody has to do something about the rotation - if we can even call it that. Joe Johnson is playing waaaaaaaaaayyyy too many minutes. He's taking so many bad shots this year, much worse than in previous years.

Horford needs a break too, because at the pace he is playing at (which is not a bad thing) he is gonna wear down quick. Hello Sheldon Williams? Can the guy get on the floor? Sure he's not gonna be a dominant force, but he is certainly a better option than Zaza at this point.

Childress just needs to learn how to not get his shots blocked.

Smith needs to stop forcing things on the offensive end.

AJ should be backing up Acie Law. Acie is not gonna learn anything watching from the bench. The squad just runs better with Acie. That's just how I feel.

It's not like the Hawks are way out of the playoffs. They are still in this and they have a lot of time.

Oh yeah, and Woody needs to start coaching. Like an NBA coach.

Oh, and I regarding Marvin, I don't really have anything negative to say. For the most part, he has been consistent through the season. Once he learns to put the ball on the floor and add the pull up jumper, he will really take off.

We're playing as bad as we can at this point. Except for Marvin and Horford, everybody seems to be clueless on the court. A bunch of crazy jump shots and horrible defense rotation. We need a trade. What surprises me the most is the fact that we got 2 guys playing in a contract year, an All'star who has gone backwards, and a bench that can't buy a basket. Yesterday's loss was one of the worst I've ever seen as a Hawks fan. Changes need to be made.
GO HAWKS.

I like the Britney Spears analogy... that was pretty good. He made a really good point about that Portland game. That would have been a win over an elite-ish team and while we prolly wouldn't have beaten Nash & Co. anyway, we wouldn't have showed up and played with our eyes closed.

The guys need to rally, the Clippers are beatable. More importantly we need a point guard and we need one of our backup big men to step up in close games (in other words, we probably need new backup big men).

Is he talking about presidential candidate John Edwards or the former Hawk center (and the worst NBA player I've ever seen)?

That Portland game needs to exit our minds. I really hope it isnt like that Utah game last season when we blew the 21 point lead in the fourth quarter. We weren't the same after that for a loooong time.

It's funny how bad the East is. We have played like five less games than the teams behind us and still have the #7 seed. If we can just win two or three of those games in hand things will look a lot better.

Wasn't that Doug Edwards? He did suck though. I remember we passed a good number of solid guys for him that draft. BK is a genius next to old Babcock.

No John Edwards was a center for the Hawks. The analogy could work both ways I guess. I was always a Batista/Obama guy when it came to those two things.

BK is a genius next to NOBODY. If he had any eye for talent, we'd be an elite team right now. At least Babcock's disasters took place in the bottom half of the first round, rather than the top half.

John Edwards was a center for us that I believe we dumped on Indiana in the Harrington deal. He's famous for being awful, having the same name as a presidential candidate, and air balling a seven footer for us in Summer League. I have no idea where he is now.

You forgot that his greatest college bball achievement was being on the same team Antonio Gates as pointed out in the Hawk's game programs!!!

We had both John Edwards and Doug Edwards after different times. John Edwards was far worse.

If we falter against the Clippers tonight will Sekou run a column entitled "No point in returning"?

Just curious.

My comment doesn't seem funny anymore considering how the team played for 42 minutes against the Clippers.
