Undisputed king of airball rebounding?

The last few telecasts I've heard them proclaim that Josh Childress is the Undisputed King of Airball Rebounding. From watching the games it does appear true that he has a knack of getting to the right spot to fetch the airball and put up his own shot attempt.

Is it just me or is anyone else disturbed that we generate enough airballs for this observation to be made by our broadcast team? I mean it's good to be the king, but that's not a good sign for the team.

I just hope more of those shots hit the rim at least. "Johnny on the spot."

I noticed how Josh gives us a 2nd chance on the off end.

I see this all the time. Josh is a special player to come off the bench. He is playing well for us, and I would hate to see him go. But if moving him fills a major void, then you have to let him go.

But knowing Billy, he is struggling to pull the trigger for any major deal. Both Joshes will be clammoring for big deals at the end of the year and we need to make that hard decision sooner than later.

The unfortunate thing is, if Josh gets traded to a contender, he won't be able to get so many points off of putting back airballs.

I found that funny too. But I think it really has to do with Josh just understandig positioning and where the ball is coming.

If he was about 6 inches taller he would average 15-16 rebounds a game. Right now, he is always in the right position and just gets out jumped by the other teams bigs.

Chillz is the only guy that likes it when Smoove takes jumpers. That much is for sure.

And Joe lately.

J. Chill lacks shooting skills, specially mid-range shots. He might hit a 3 here and there, but he's productive when he's close to the basket and J. Smith starts showing the world his pretty jump shots. At least he gets an assist there lol.

This wasn't a shot at Childress, but rather a comment on the teams shooting woes.

What a sight to see.

JSmoove throwing up his 'jumpers' and JChill catching them.
