The Atlanta Hawks (18-24) will attempt to stop the West Coast bleeding tonight against the Nets. New Jersey (19-26) will be playing the 2nd of a back to back set against the Hawks and Heat with Jason Kidd publicly demanding a trade. Wow. What a mess. Hopefully Atlanta can get back on track tonight, the Hawks are 12-9 at home this season.

Hey Forrest! It's Lieutinant Dan!

Looks like Vince stubbed his toe in warmups

Speaking of Kidd is that free throw ritual sanitary?
What if Horford had to scratch his privates?

What if Marvin sticks his finger in one of those huge nostrils?!?!

EEEYUCK! That's disgusting!

Reporting from the Front Lines here is a Hawks update:

General Woodson has requisitioned supplies from Headquarters

The General is asking for more long range Bombers

It seems the Battalion's Snipers have been missing their mark

The War Effort now hinges on this man

Anyone else feeling a little nervous about this one?

Viva la Hawks!

Haha, good thread gsu. I feel like this is one of those where the fans of the other team only have more insulting things to say about their players than you do.

This is winnable but they all are... doesn't mean we win.

This game and the Philly game on Monday are MUST WINS.

If they are losses....I feel the time will be appropriate to relief Woody of his coaching duties. We are 3-12 since we were 15-12 in mid December.

Let's try and go 3-1 on this 4 home game stand.....key word being TRY!

If Woody can't give me THREE THIS WEEK, I gotta send him packing.

We need three wins Woody!

Not One, not two, but THREE!!

I'll be there. We've got to get the winning feeling back again.

Might be last game coached by Woodson, IMO

Caesar's has us as 7 pt favorites, wtf? 191 as the o/u.

I mean seriously, wtf? I know the Hawks are back at home, but what indication has there been that the Hawks should be 7 point favorites over anyone? Favorites at home, sure, but 7 pts is quite a bit.

New Jersey playing last night is a big reason why we're favored by so much.

Exactly. He's the only one of our 5 "PGs" that can come close to doing so. Given our athletic roster it's mind boggling that it took so long for him to get back to the PT he was getting early on.

17 point lead at halftime. Let's see if they learned not to let up off the gas like they did in Portland.

Good first half. joe and t Lue are playing like crap, and it was amazing how much better the offense looked running through Acie Law and Marvin Williams (HINT HINT)

The lead would have been 25+ had Woodson not pulled woodson at the end of the half and let Lue run the team.

But I won't complain....unless they lose.

Yeah, you never know with this squad. Let's keep the sub patterns somewhat logical this time coach Mike.

Now lets see if they can keep the pressure on in the second half FOR ONCE instead of slowing it down.

Everyone is on fire except JJ and Lue.

16 assists and only 5 turnovers at the half.

Law's stat line looks funny. 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0 turnovers, 0 fouls, 7 assists.

Up 16 and we are trying our no PG lineup. Let's see how it goes.
