The Atlanta Hawks (19-24) continue a brief homestand against the 76ers tonight. Philadelphia (18-29) is coming off a 2 point loss to Orlando. Both teams score and allow virtually the same amount of points. The Hawks are 13-9 at home. The Sixers are 4-6 over their last 10 games while the Hawks are 3-7 over that same stretch. This game means a little more to the Hawks as they are still in the Eastern Conference Playoff hunt.

Just so you know, Korver was traded to Utah a while ago. Good stuff as always though.

Nice thread, maybe the sixers'll just leave Miller in the A. I'm off to a bar in Queens that will be open bar til 4 if the Giants win... so there is a 5% (if that) chance that I don't show up to work til noon tomorrow, they should really think about making it a holiday if that happens.

Line opened with Atlanta by 5 and has grown to 5.5. o/u is 189.5 (down half a point).

Made a last second decision not to attend the game (six straight home games at Philips Arena for me this week is too much to handle). If you can pick up my tickets at my office on Northside this afternoon/early evening, then you are welcome to them. First come, first serve. Section 202 Row A. Hate for the seats to go unused. Post that you want them here and we'll get info exchanged quickly.

Changed the music. Wasn't feeling the tempo again.

I have been quite indecisive lately!

Josh Smith and Lou Williams have been good friends since pre-school. What are the odds that they are trying to get each other to switch teams in the off-season?

Hawks should win, not sure about by 5.5, but maybe just under that. I'd take the under on this one!

If they don't have Iggy we better win. Of course we lost to LAC with nine players..

If Iggy sits we cover! Louis Williams will be ready to show off for the home crowd.

Divisional Games:

Dallas @ Orlando - Orlando favored to win

Toronto @ Miami

Charlotte @ Phoenix

Atlanta needs to win this. All three teams could fall tonight and we need to take advantage of it!

We are letting them get inside way too easy. Did Bob and AJ just say that Andre Miller doesn't want to run the ball? Did they watch him in Denver?

Smitty says every team we play wants to "Walk it up and grind it out."

Going for the Nets HD channel to Sports South is hard on the eyes. The Sixers have shot 3 jumpers so far and like 10 layups. We need to stop the ball.

Man, they really hate running...Dalembert is killing us on defense and they're all killing us on offense. Thought the Hawks would come out with some fire after the Nets game. Silly me.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
