If gutless means not being (Please Use More Appropriate Word) then I'm fine with that.

Hahaha

Maybe

You guys don't have your 1st round pick this year, if Shaq can be as good as he potentially could be or as good as the vibe he's giving off, then Shaq would put the Hawks DEEP into the playoffs.

If he's a broken stiff, then it'd be atrocious, I agree

It doesn't matter because Shaq would never play for the Hawks.

Huh?

Do you really think the Heat would've accepted Speedy's deal, because that's the only way a trade would've happened.

(BTW, the Hawks tried to acquire Shaq from the Lakers a few years back by offering expirings + a pick IIRC).

We can't afford to take on that contract.

The Hawks would be NASTY

PG - Tyron Lue/Acie Law
SG - Joe Johnson/Marvin Williams
SF - Josh Smith/Marvin Williams
PF - Al Horford/Josh Smith
C - Shaquille O'Neal/Al Horford

Give us a trade that would work under the CBA rules, Jimmy.

(Note: There's not one).

This is a strawman.

Not to mention the fact that paying Shaq 1 million for ever 1 mpg he has isn't a good investment (yes I am saying Shaq would get about 20 mpg because he is old and is tearing down).

i agree, i'm always for the big trade.

if you look at the good teams, they are always the ones who make the big trades... thus they are good because they make the big trades.

i agree, alot of people here are gutless, check out the post i posted up a few weeks ago.....

Because they got a rookie, two first round picks, and no dead contracts like Claxton's.

Marion + Banks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Zaza/Claxton

Just because one GM made a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) trade doesn't make it acceptable to create other (Please Use More Appropriate Word) trade proposals.

I feel stupid for contributing to this thread.

This was clearly bait, and I took willingly.
