What ESPN Says
The Hawks and Bobcats will try to end their respective losing streaks as they meet on Wednesday night in the teams' final game before the All-Star break.
Atlanta (21-27) is in danger of matching a season-high fourth straight loss, set from Jan. 16-23. The Hawks also have not fared well at Philips Arena recently, losing four straight and 10 of 11.
Atlanta is averaging 89.5 points in its last two games, and Johnson has struggled. The All-Star guard has scored a total of 19 points while shooting 24.0 percent (6-for-25) from the field in that span.
Johnson, who averages 20.6 points, was held to just 11 in a 94-90 loss to Detroit on Tuesday night.
Against Charlotte (18-34) this season, however, Johnson is averaging 32.5 points and 8.0 assists while shooting 54.8 percent (23-for-42) from the field to lead Atlanta to two wins.
Wallace, meanwhile, averaged 25.5 points in those games, but the star guard will sit out Wednesday for the fifth time in six games with a strained foot as the Bobcats try to avoid their season-high eighth straight loss.
What Forbes Saysfrom the Charlotte Business Journal
Charlotte has been ranked the ninth-most miserable city in the nation, according to a ranking by Forbes magazine.
The magazine surveyed 150 metropolitan areas and ranked them according to unemployment, personal tax rates, commute times, weather, crime and superfund sites.
According to Forbes, Charlotte has undergone tremendous economic growth the past decade and the population has soared 32 percent. However, employment growth has not kept up with the rise in population, meaning unemployment rates are up more than 50 percent from a decade ago.
Charlotte scored in the bottom half of the six categories. Its worst score was for violent crime, at 838 incidents per 100,000 residents.

We gotta get a win boys. That's all there is to it. We just got passed by Jersey in the Win column. We need this one more than they do.

My initials stand for Erectile Dysfunction. What a horrible realization to have before Valentine's Day! Luckily there are new and exciting treatments for "Evil Dallas".

I'm not sure how Charlotte is favored. I don't see us winning another game until April.

As bad as Woodson is, I'd take him over Vincent.

You hate your coach too?
Hell welcome to the club, we've got jackets!

If you go on other teams' message boards, you'll see freaking everyone blame everything and hates on their coach. Even Utah was hating on Sloan earlier in the year.

The Hawks often lose focus early on and get behind big.
The Hawks seem to get outscored in the 4th quarter of games that are close.
Hit me with some stats somebody.

What else is there to blame it on? Atlanta and Charlotte have much more talent than their records show. Especially Atlanta.

We are pretty horrible on the second game of back to backs.

I haven't looked it up but i would say the only way we could do worse would be if we forfeited the games.

My first thought was that other teams fans blame Woodson also. That would be humorous.

a quick scan and I think the Hawks are 4-6 in the second game of back to backs. But like I said that was in about 15 second of looking down the Hawks schedule so I may not be right

The last time the Hawks won the second game of a back to back looks to be 2 months ago against the Cats so maybe there is hope after all.

I thinking warm happy thoughts. Hopefully that is enough to get a win tonight since I am expecting only 1 win on the entire West coast trip.
