Kinsey can slash, but doesn't provide outside shooting. I've not seen any of Bobby Jones at this level so I can't speak to his strengths.
I'm not sure of Childress's trade value because he'll be an RFA. I think he may have more value as a rental to a top team than a building piece to a Seattle, Philadelphia, or Memphis because of his contract status. They could conceivably lose him in the off season. However, he could be a valuable role player for a championship contender who would actually benefit from his RFA status to resign him if they wanted to since otherwise they could only use the MLE. He could bring back lesser players and picks. The picks could be bundled to get us starter help.
The other thing is that trading Childress depends on management's decision that investing in him is not the way to go. I think this is the correct decision, but given past actions I don't expect BK to make a decision until the last possible point. Expect BK to hold Childress until he finds out what the market will offer him to determine if it is a bargain or not. This is what he did with Al Harrington. He got lucky on that one. This time he could do even better because it is less a stretch that we would actually want to match an offer sheet for Chill.
BTW, the free agent signings would have to be after the trade because of roster rules. We can't actually sign anyone without waiving someone because we have 15 under contract.

What is true value of Childress?
I think he can get 6-7M/year in the open market and I don't know if ASG is going to buy into that. Childress does bring a lot of intangibles to the team.
We already have JJ, Marvin, Smoove and Lue as outside shooters. This is not Chill's role here. We do need what he brings to the table.
Looking into next year, we could see the following annual salaries:
JJ - 14.2
Smoove - 9-12?
Chills - 6-7?
Speedy - 5.7
Marvin - 5.6
Zaza - 4
Horford - 4
Shelden - 3.4
Acie - 2
(I don't either AJ or Lue to be here next year.)
Thats a minimum of 54.6, and that still gives us room under the cap. Moving Speedy and Shelden out of this mix is of course the best case scenario, or we can stretch Smoove or Chills to 2009-10.
We aren't in that bad a situation other than the fact that we need to determine who we are going to be our main players going forward.

If Philly comes heavy for Smoove it could balloon to 13, almost no chance to get him at a starting salary of 9M anymore based on how he played this year. By the way, the 5yr/45M he turned down equates to a starting salary of about 7M a year. I can't believe the team didn't at least offer Kevin Martin money to him (5yr/55M) in hopes of locking him in.
The big issue with signing Chill to even 6-7M is that Marvin is up right after him. Marvin could be 8-9M or a lot more depending on his development and the market at the time. Does the Joe/Marvin/Chill group at the 2/3 make sense at a price tag of 30M+? Seems a lot to pay for the level of success their skill sets are likely to provide.

The other possibility, as mentioned in another thread, is to trade Chill to PHO for our pick back. As much as I hate losing him, we'd no doubt be able to pick up a decent SG/SF to bring along behind JJ and Marvin. If not, we'd possibly have cap room to get a MLE-type guy to come off the bench. I don't like this plan from the perspective that we should be able to do something now to improve and make the playoffs.
What would Gordon command from BK?

Probably Chills and Marvin. I don't believe Gordon is going anywhere based on his ability to fill it up from outside. You don't find that touch very often.
Chicago already has role players, and to me, that is how Childress can be described. How many teams would he start for right now? He helps our depth and fills up a stat sheet on a limited basis, but we really need a shooter and a solid PG.
