Yes, that Rosen read is brutally honest on what we gave up with respect to Shelden and Lo Wright and the most in depth on analysis of the 3 PGs.

I like Hollinger's the best. What people need to see in this isn't just that we added Bibby - meaning that its not like the Kidd for Harris deal where you wonder if its going to make the team any better. We replaced what amounted to the absolute worst starting point platoon with a guy who is, at the very least, an average starter.

I actually didn't care fo Rosen, mainly because his evaluation of Lue was about 66% innaccurate. He described him as having fast hands on defense - Lue actually has one of the lowest rates of steals in the game. He also described Lue as being a good uptempo point guard but if anyone has watched him play, they'll know that he is strictly half-court. I just had trouble taking him seriously when it seemed like he had only watched the guy play in about 4 games (Lakers - Sixers). Not that Lue is a terrible player, he is just not the guy that Rosen is describing.

It gives Atlanta fans hope

if not during this year's playoff run, but next year's run when these guys have spent some time together.
Good assessements for both teams. I know Sac-town is trying to clear up cap space, but can they improve on Bibby? Apparently, he has worn his welcome out.
Now, if he and JJ are what I consider the 2nd best backcourt in the East, what does that say about the weakness of the East?
I think we can make a semi decent run at a top 5-6 playoff spot. There is still a rugged West coast trip to complete.
With about 30 games to play, can the Hawks go 20-10 or better?
