The Atlanta Hawks (21-28.) travel to Los Angeles to kick off a Post All-Star road trip. The Lakers (35-17) were heading in the opposite direction of the Hawks before the break. LA is 8-2 over their past 10 games while Atlanta is 3-7 over that same stretch. Compounding the Hawks' problems is their 6-17 record on the road.

Currently the Hawks are in a virtual tie for the 7/8 spots in the East with Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Good thread. I've nothing to add, but I'm a flutter with anticipation.

No line yet.

BTW, he can still deliver the shocker (well reverse-style). It's just a bigger shock and he has to ice it down afterward.

Sorry bud it won't let me edit the poll now.

You can cast a write in ballot!

That puts "Party Girl" in a strong tie for 2nd behind the Laker Bimbo w/2 votes

Not a better time

Post#9 » by td00 » Tue Feb 19, 2008 12:44 am

Catching the Lakers with Kobe hurt, Gasol just getting involved, and no Kwame.........oops! I meant Bynum!

We should sweep this series from the LA-LA crowd.

And I can't believe there isn't a pic of ole Jack at his courtside seat!

When done correctly making a game thread is like a sweet science.

Just because it's a good pic doesn't mean it necessarily incorporates well.

I hope we come out with a new fire with Bibby and play with a ton of intensity like our last meeting. Let's see if Al can dominate them again.

I'm assuming Bibby is playing tomorrow.

Don't be surprised if he sits tomorrow night as he's joining the team tomorrow. I'm fine with his first night being against the Kings!

I haven't been keeping up with his arrival. I figured he'd be here by now. Either way the Hawks should come out with renewed energy.
