We should have thrown in BK and Woodson for cash considerations. Like I think we would have given them at least a couple mil to take them off our hands.

Hossa wasn't resigning. They tried to sign him. I can't say what type of offer they made, but they only traded him once it was certain he was going to walk. We got good young talent back. Just probably won't help this season. However, they weren't a playoff team with Hossa and Dupuis.
