Yep, the Sacto game was the most important game of the year but this one is going to be very telling. The Hawks absolutely HAVE to take care of beatable teams at home if they are going to make it. The Knicks are more disfunctional and less talented than us.

Knicks have capable inside players like Lee Randolph and Curry that match up well against a very small team. You *might* see Randolph Morris tonight as well:)

I don't think the Hawks are too worried about Randoph and Curry(although a motivated Curry could punish Horford). The good thing is that Curry is no longer the number 1 option on offense and he's always been a liability defensively(basically $10 million for a fatter version of Zaza). The Knicks should be much more worried about their unathletic frontcourt and their awful interior defense. Seriously...Richardson/Randolph/Curry is the most unathletic and out of shape frontcourt I've ever seen. The Hawks should be fine if they don't try to slow the game down.

I have been looking forward to this Knicks game for a few weeks now. For the sole reason this is the first easy game since the Charlotte game (and we all know how that ended). Hopefully with Bibby we're able to take advantage of these games.

Good analysis. Curry would be a concern but if both he and Zbo are in the game I expect the Hawks to run like it was a damn track meet. Neither has heard the phrase "transition defense" and both are prone to TOs.

If the Hawks come in knowing that they are the better team and then play like it, should have a big first quarter.

Randolph and Curry really are as bad as advertised defensively.

Where is Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier? Kenny Smith SUCKS as a color commentator. I know we don't play on TNT/ESPN , but he keeps talking about how good we are offensively and how weak we our defensively. He also keeps calling Horford a 7 footer for some odd reason. Do some research before the game.

See this is where I don't understand what Woodson't thinking.... why did he feel the need to substitute Zaza and Chills there??

The team was playing well, establishing a rhythm and nobody was in foul trouble. The Knicks didn't substitute..... you play starters for starters unless you're forced to substitute. I see he quickly went back to Josh Smith, but why the change in the first place??

Yeah and why did he take Bibby out.....This coach stinks!

I actually believe we could easily move forward by replacing Woodson at this point. We have two All-Star vets and a the rest of our lineup is made up of very smart players. For all we know it may spark the club and we have already hit a low point.

I am honestly embarrassed right now. The Knicks are a disgrace to the game of basketball, they spot up from anywhere, refuse to play defense, and don't hustle. Of course we play down to their level and let them hang with us.

The Hawks played too slow in that first half. They need to speed the game up.

Playing down to the opponent. We cannot afford this.

The Hawks just can't make any jumpers. Familiar story.

Smith is still trying to make highlight passes. Someone needs to tell him he isn't Steve Nash.

I don't think so--let's be objective. The Hawks have no one who can handle Zach Randolph and they are lucky E Curry is out of condition+ Lee is having a rare night off. Atlanta might be faster and more athletic but the Knicks have size/strength and also some underrated pieces like Jamal Crawford and Nate robinson.

This goes back to my arguement that Atlanta is tooo small.

Briggs you do realize the Hawks big men have outscored the Knicks big men right...the reason the Hawks are losing is because Crawford has hit just about the same number of jumpshots that our entire team has.
