Hawks just need wins (duh)

I was looking at the standings today, and I noticed that the Hawks have played 2 less games than the Nets and 4 less than the Sixers. While it is kinda depressing that we have the same number of losses, I like this, because if the Hawks can just win the next 3 (for example) at home against Philly and twice against Miami, then they would pass NJ and become half a game back on Philly.

Yes, it is nice that we really do control what happens to us from here on out. We aren't in a situation where we have to win 75% of our games and everyone else has to lose out. Still though, I'm not going to trust this team to win until it starts doing so.

We've been in that situation for a while. I don't understand how all of these teams around us have played more games. Getting two wins in one night against the Heat would be nice.

Speaking of which, we have a game tonight against a team we have already beaten on the road. We play better at home and are the slight favorites but the Warriors are not to be underestimated. They are in the middle of a battle for their playoff spot and are going to be looking at games against teams like the Hawks as must-wins.
Woody really needs to be able to keep the guys both motivated and energized for the remainder of the schedule because it Philly and Washington haven't taken their expected slides yet and its more important for the Hawks to be in the playoffs than to do well in them. Tough job, but if anyone can do it, its Mike Woodson!
Sekou's article was right, the Hawks have to lean heavily on Al and Josh. In a game like this, those two have an advantage on the front line of the competition. Hopefully Bibby and Joe have their shots working because GS tends to have some high scoring games.
Need to take care of business at home!
