When will someone become a leader on the Hawks? We need somebody to just snap and go off on somebody. Its just a matter of pride!!! Everyone should be held accountable and nobody is. DeadWood needs to be fired!!!
Gets some damn passion for Christs sake. I'm so over it.
With Bibby coming on board I got my hopes up only to be crushed again by Deadwoods inability to get the most out of any player on the roster.
The Hawks are a very talented bunch of players but are in no way, shape or form - good.
Can anyone on this board show me an example of passionate leadership?

The Hawks need to fire Woodson. Its the coach fault. What happen with the hawks spreading the floor & shooting 3s? Why is the starters playing too much minutes? How come Richardson havent played yet? Why is Joe playing too much minutes? GET RID OF WOODSON!!

Bibby is a good leader, but the rest of our vets are embarrasments. JJ continues to amaze me with his lack of leadership and he showed that again tonight.
Horford seems to be a future leader, Smoove could if he can keep his head on straight all the time.
We need to seriously overhaul our veteran leadership this summer. This team needs to show some maturity.

I remember a blog that Sekou wrote where he was talking to a scout at the DET game who said that Josh S. and Al were the two guys that were real competitors on this team.
I have to agree with him on that one. Josh is the only truly "fiery" guy on the team and Al is a real workman.
I don't think you can really bring in veteran role players to be leaders and expect them to have a great effect. KG had the force of character to overhaul the Cs, then again he is a top 5 talent in the league. Bringing in Lo Wright to be a good locker room guy isn't going to have the same energizing effect.
I think we really need to grow our leadership from the inside. Build around Josh and Al (I think we keep Joe too) and let people know that they are the leaders. Get a coach that the guys will play for and a GM that seems like he knows what he is doing and is willing to have a hand in mobilizing the guys.

The problem is, Smoove and Horford may not be the leaders we need if they don't take the cue from someone else. ESPECIALLY for Smoove, someone needs to point him in the right direction.

Are of are guys are passive and like to play of the other guy. I thought the additon of Bibby would bring us a vocal leader. Did I mention he left that in Sacramento?
