I have a feeling that we are gonna put a stop to the Rockets streak....We need a win..we match up well, defend the 3 pointer well....the only thing that can get in our way are the officials and David Stern...the ass who wanted 51.9 seconds for us to lose a game.....I hate the commish..he is involved in many undercover things....I bet her was behind the referee issue about Tim Donoghay last year.....Lets just do it..

My interest in the Hawks has gone WAY down since the last GS game but the national media just assuming they are going to win their next 2 games should be a slap in the face to our players. IIRC the Rockets have some pretty cocky fans which led to alot of trash talking when we beat them last year(when they were also on a hot streak).

We hope so, and ya never know, they've been good vs west teams at home, but that was a good while ago, even before the LAL win.

Since when the Hawks defend the 3 well ? We got totally owned the other day playing them in Houston. But I still think we're able to win that game.

Hi, Hawks fans.
Thats stats scare me since people say history repeat itself. But anyway good luck for the game.
PS: Im more scare from you guys than the LAL.

I actually remember that game. I was so excited I taped the highlights and watched it over and over again...Kevin Willis had a crazy dunk over Otis Thorpe and Hakeem.....hope history repeats...GO HAWKS!!!

Its possible... of course Houston is a very deep team with an incredibly disciplined defense we are currently a spectacularly shallow team with no real offense so... go hawks.

I don't think so.

Any team can win on any night, but how can you possibly say we defend the 3 ball well? We have never defended the 3 ball well and it's only getting worse. We have to be close to some kind of suck record after these last 5 or 6 games.

I wouldn't be surprised. The Rockets schedule has been remarkably easy during the streak.

We defended the 3 ball a lot better before, but it always felt like the other team was missing a ton of open shots and we were getting so lucky. For instance, first time we played NO they missed an incredible amount of wide open three's, the next time the exact same thing happened and this time they made us pay.

This one sure fits in that catagory. The Hawks got blown out by the Bobcats without GWallace and barely held on against Miami even though JJ scorched them for 39.

I don't think that is the explanation. We were playing a lot harder and for whatever reason we were defending against dribble penetration way more effectively.

I got tix to tonight's game, so we'll see if the Hawks can stop history, and if history repeats itself, or if the Rockets shall reign supreme.
The thing is, we bought these tickets a few months ago, having no idea the Rockets would be on a 19 game winning streak when it came time for the game, so I'm excited about tonight.

If it was so easy....this wouldn't be only the 3rd team in NBA history to win 20 in a row.
Everyone plays the same number of games and everyone in the West plays the same teams in the East as each other.
NO ONE can take anything away from this win streak...no matter how much they try.

Easy? We beat Golden State, New Orleans twice, Dallas, Portland twice, Sacramento, Chicago, Denver, and San Antonio a few days before the streak began. Nothing easy about that. And last 7 games with no Yao and last 3 with no yao or landry.
Nice prediction dominique, nba history made today!!
