At 6' 11" and 240 can he play center in NBA? and can he man on man defend centers? does he block shots? If yes, How would a front ling of
Josh - Noah - Horford look like? thoughts

I'd rather have Hibbert or Thabeet via the next draft (requires trading to get a top 14 pick) than Noah as a C. Also normally partially reconstituting a college squad in the pros has met with dismal results.

Yes he is a center. He is a good player and will be a fine man defender in time. Right now he's still a rookie. We can't get him though, the Bulls seem to like him.

these are the two guy I like ( really like Thabeet.. stall raw), would you trade .. say Marvin to move into the first round to grab one of these guys>

Hell I'll just say it! Marvin maybe a complete play someday, but right now he very one dimenional! I'd trade him now and keep J chill in a heartbeat. If we played J richerson we'd get the same thing A JUMP SHOOTER! . I think the point is nailed down...We need a Center that can rebound and d up and were are set!!...o yes a new coach

In another thread I suggested that we try to trade Marvin Williams to Charlotte for Matt Carroll and their 1st rounder to draft a shot blocking C.

It's hard to give up on Marvin, but I'm not seeing him ever becoming the player we want here especially with the draft comparisons haunting him.

Furthermore, I'm not seeing a better way to get a big C than the draft. Free agents like Patrick O'Bryant and Randolph Morris are bigger crap shoots. Diop will probably command the full MLE and push the team close to the luxury tax (depending on other moves). The roster needs some different skill sets added to it.

i dont know why but when i see him i think of tyler hansbrough of unc. i honestly dont think either will amount to anything but i hope im wrong...for their sakes.

I can't stand Noah, but at this point I'd love to have him on our bench. Since Solomon doesn't play and Zaza is one big negative play, we have no big man depth.

Ok, bucking the trend here. I like him. I think you cant hate a winner. I mentioned in a post I made a few months back that the Hawks should have jumped on the opportunity to try to trade for him back when his team mates benched him with all that bad blood we could have stole him for Stoudamire or something like that..

I don't believe anyone that says he wouldn't be an asset to the Hawks for a long time.

Just my opinion but I'm sure that there are others that would share my point of view.

CHI would not have made this kind of trade. They already wanted to keep him and trade Wallace. If the other players benched him, it was all under the influence of Wallace and Griffin. If these two guys were not on the roster, nobody would have been benched.

Noah is a really productive player. Sure he's ugly and obnoxious, but he comes off the bench and busts his ass. If we had him instead of Zaza I guarantee we are a few games better right now.

I can't believe all the hate for the guy in this thread. He rebounds, blocks shots, hustles, can handle the ball and pass better than most guys his size. yes, his offense is...odd, but he is scoring mostly of putbacks and garbage points. He is Anderson Varajo with 50% less flop.

That guy is going to be in the NBA for a long time.

evildallas, I really like that trade Chalotte would get a third member of that nc team and we would get a pure shooter and maybe a big in this draft. I wonder what marvin's value around the NBA is?

I agree with this completely, however, I think that they will both go in the top 10.

Also, Thabeet would really benefit from 1 more year in college. He has only been playing bball for like 4-5 years of his life. The difference between this year and last for him has been huge and he will only get better.

Bull fan here, If Noah was on your team you would like him, great rebounder, good handles for his size, solid defender, great energy and hates losing. He need to gain some muscle to bang down low, and also needs some to improve his offense at least gain a baby hook down low. When we drafted him I knew he was solid but I couldn't stand the way his face looks, his dancing, and his obnoxiousness. But I like the fact he plays hard and will work hard in the offseason to improve his game.

This is correct - plus Noah HATES to lose.

I'd rather have a guy who hates to lose than one who wants to win.

He's stuck on a crappy team & there is a major adjustment to be made - and he's doing well.

i've never seen a big man pass as well as he does.

Of the 15 Bulls, Noah is the only one who I absolutely do not want to lose. Take any of the other 14 but leave me Noah & I'll be happy
