Philips to open early for fans

The Hawks are recommending that fans arrive early for Saturday night's game against Orlando, allowing fans with tickets to enter the arena at 5:30 p.m. because of the ongoing cleanup going on around the downtown area from last week's tornado.

Work crews are still working to repair the CNN Center atrium, which means the food court area will remain closed on Saturday. It will reportedly reopen Monday.

The Thrashers, too, planned to open the doors a half hour earlier than normal for Friday night's game.
