Nice for him to have a double-double against someone he struggles against. He played Howard well tonight.

I'm going to be so upset when Durant steals the ROY.

Man, I hope it's becoming apparent to everyone that Horford is the piece this team should be built around. Once we get AL a real center and move him back to PF, we're really gonna see wht the kid can do........

ROY

Durant is years away from being the man Horford is; if ever.

Horford is the type of guy who cares more about making the playoffs as do I.

We all know that ROTY is political just like every other award.

They'll give it to the more marketable Kevin Durant.

I like Al a lot. He does some things that this team needs, I don't necessarilly see how you could say we should build around him just yet. He doesn't go for the kill on offense.

I definitely see him as a very good piece for this team though.

No question, Horford was the most NBA ready guy in the draft, and should get ROTY.

I was just searching through the archives and came across this. Made me think...

In the last 6 years, we've gone through 3 coaches. Gone through 3 General Managers. Completely overhauled the entire roster from AL's rookie season. There are 0 other players here from Horford's rookie season.

And yet in 7 seasons, not once have we put even an average Center next to AL just to see how he'd perform.

Our ownership was so awestruck by other young players we had, that they neglected too see what a gem we had.

Imagine how different things would have been had we focused the operation on building around AL exclusively for the last 7 seasons.
