3/25 Vs. Chicago

Post#1 » by M301E814W404 » Tue Mar 25, 2008 7:03 pm

Chicago is terrible. Why are we 3.5 point underdogs? Am I missing something? Even though I like that the Hawks can defy the odds, I don't like the lack of respect we get.

The Hawks have did nothing to earn any respect. As for being underdogs. Hawks are on the road. Hawks are playing well of late. All the ingredient are there for a let down game by the Hawks.

This team doesn't know how to take advantage of golden chances when presented in front of them. They got 3 games this week that you would think the Hawks would win. For some odd reason they find ways to screw it up.

If this team would grow up like the 76ers did. They are a lock for the playoffs. Instead they still want to make lame excuses and refuse to play up to their talents. This team want respect. Go out there and earn it just like the 76ers did.

The Hawks shouldn't be favored on the road against any team in the East other than New York and Miami. The Hawks haven't won in Chicago in the Woody era and numbers say that we are completely different team on the road this year. Hopefully this is a good game since both teams are fighting for the playoffs because the game I went to in November was terrible.

We got blown out by Charlotte on the road. Why should a team 9 games under .500 get respect? We have to earn it.

Hopefully the Chi brass has given up on the season and put in the order to tank.

Don't know what else to say, we have a shot at it even though its a road game.

Go Hawks.

Chicago has won just 3 fewer games than the Hawks. The Hawks have 9 wins on the road while Chicago has 16 wins at home. If you don't know why the Bulls are favored then you aren't paying attention.

Check out the general board, there is a poll asking who everyone is pulling for regarding the 8th seed in the East. Looks like most everyone is in our corner. I thought that was pretty cool.

I hope we get a win tonight. That'd be so nice. But as it's been said here, we have a lot of trouble when we play them, so hopefuly we'll come out on fire, like we want this win more than they do. They got no one to defend inside, so I hope we attack the rim over and over.
GO HAWKS.

The Hawks need this one to solidify their hold on the 8 spot. We can't sit around and wait for other teams to lose in order to make the playoffs.

I started hunting some Boston pics this afternoon in the event the Hawks face them in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Does Marvin have baby hands or can he just not catch?

Feel free to get in Gooden's face whenever you want Smith/Horford.

Gooden has the midrange J workin tonight. Imagine if Josh had that shot mastered, he'd be unstoppable.

These guys look very focused as of now. They'd better spread this lead before the 3rd quarter tho. You never know what Woody's going to do with the guys at the break.

GO HAWKS!

Would J-Rich getting some minutes really be that horrible?

It seems like Nocioni is always fighting back tears whenever he plays us. If Smith isn't blocking him 15 times a game and dunking on him he's foulilng everyone or bricking all his shots.

Smith is too busy hanging out at the 3 point line to be bothered with midrange shots.

Gooden has 20/10 at the half. Great defense by our "bigs". They have 12 offensive rebounds already.

Smith didn't have one rebound in the first half. Great job.

I don't like being this close at the half. Unless the Bulls do an even bigger choke job than us, it might not be pretty.

And yet again it's time for the Atlanta Hawks meltdown, courtesy of our brilliant HC Woodson.

that wasn't predictable... if you could bet on a team being outscored by a certain amount to begin the third, I'd put down all my money.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
