sticky this, HM?

If we win tonight, we will be 3 up with 8 to play. Meaning .500 ball will get us there unless Indiana morphs into a good team.

Go Heat! I will never call them tankers again if they win tonight.

I have them going 4-5 in their last 9. So if that Pacers record holds true the hawks would have to go 2-7 in there last nine not to qualify.

Atlanta splits back 2 back nights against Philly. The road trips continues with Indy after two days of rest so I expect us to win. We are far from being a good road team, but it's looking better, and the next two games should be W's.

I think the Hawks can clinch a playoff spot if they beat Indy. The Hawks would have atleast a 4 game(at worst)lead with only 4 games left. That game also decides who has the tie breaker.

If we beat Indy the Pacers are done, but NJ would still not be eliminated. However, any combination of an NJ loss or ATL win the rest of the way clinches for us. I refuse to get overconfident here, we still have work to do. I hope our team feels that way too.

Playing two games in a row against Philly should help the hawks against Indy. Philly plays with a lot of intensity all the time and i think the Hawks may have learned something from them.

Also i want to give props to Marvin. In the two games against Philly he scored 37 pts shooting 63% and was 13/14 from the ft line. These were very important games against a tough defensive team so it is good to see Marvin produce.

Indy was down 10 at the end of 3 then went on a 29-7 run. Milwaukee just blows.

I believe everyone knows by now, but the magic number is 1. Four chances for us to win or Indy to lose. I'd really like to see us handle our business at home against Orlando. The Heat have the worst record in the league, but we should hope that game means nothing just in case.
