From Hoopsworld's 5 Hottest Shooting Guards

Joe Johnson, Atlanta Hawks
Could the Hawks upset the Celtics? No. But if they could, the effort would be led by Joe Johnson. As it is, he won't be easy for Boston to contain. Atlanta has won 6 of their last 7 games to hang on to the last playoff spot in the East, and Johnson has been a big part of each of those wins. In addition to scoring about 6 points over his average, he also is finding the open man more consistently - his assists are up by 2 a game. A shooting guard who gives your team 8 rebounds and 8 assists in a game while still scoring holds more value - and makes a team more versatile - especially in the playoffs.

I didn't realize he was putting up numbers that big. Impressive.

He won player of the month in march and player of the week last week.

I think it's a combination of Joe stepping and also the addition of Bibby. Joe gets a lot of assists when he gets doubled and kicks to Bibby. Both of them have been outstanding recently.

I saw that, but hadn't looked at the numbers. 8 Rebounds and 8 Assists is pretty clutch.

On the top of that I think he's attitude has changed dramatically. Sometimes he drives to the basket so hard as if no one could stop him. I mean, he's taken a huge challenge and I couldn't be happier with the results. I just wish we can find someone to back him up this off-season. There's no way you should risk your best player by playing him over 40-45 min a night.

Sometimes I intentionally leave titles with innuendo possibilities just hoping that you guys follow with the jokes.

Now you tell us. :banghead:

Still as much as i have defended JJ it would be hard to goof on a guy who starts a thread to give him credit.
