I knowit does not look good for him in lac, but if they do not sign him is he a gut you may take a chance on for a year or two if the price is right.
When he was heathy, he was really comming on.

If he is healthy and looks like he is on his way to fulfilling his potential, he won't be available. The only way we'd get our hands on him is if we offered now while there is still a question about his health/ability and we hoped that he stayed well/produced for us.

The question is, will the Clippers offer him the 5 million qualifying offer to keep him. I think it is that much.

It's hard to call a player that's never done anything good overrated, but that's Livingston's case. Not even when he was healthy he was that good. I do think there's way too much hype around that guy. No team will offer him any long term commitment when he's been out for like over a season and no one knows how he is now. I think if we had to give anyone 5M, I'd rather get a C or a SG to back up JJ.

Livingston was just 21 when he was injured, and he was showing signs of being the PG of the future before the injury. I'd surprised if LAC let him go if he's healhy.

I don't think LA will let him go either way. I would love to have him if we got the chance to sign him to a reasonable deal. 5mm is too much for someone who i am shocked can even walk again.

I wish him well, but don't want to tie up guaranteed cash on the hope that he can ball again. The team is still pay Speedy to sit, the risk is too great with Shaun.

I could not agree more. Talking about Speedy, any chance to get rid of his salary a la Terrell brandon maybe down the road?
