Would've nice to bring him back for the playoffs and for old times sake. We did use a #6 pick on him once upon a time.
Anyway, best of luck to him in SA as he may very well have a championship ring by season's end.

Nice to see who he was compared to there, and in this next link:

That last link is very interesting to read about the draft grades.

When I saw him play his rookie year, I saw a superstar that made a lot of dumb decisions. With that neck injury, he never looked as explosive and doesn't elevate the way he used to on his jumper. I honestly think this kid was a superstar in the making.
But looking back...2000 was a HORRIBLE draft. Those draft grades are funny though. Like teams kicking them selves for passing on Eric Barkley and Deshawn Stevenson being the cornerstone of a franchise.

The Bulls. 6 picks in the top 34, two as lottery picks...
Now only 2 are in the league and neither is a Bull.
But the best is here

I'll give it for passing on JJ, but they got Jefferson and Jason Collins for the mistake known as Eddie Griffin

New Jersey made a bad decision trading it's mid lottery pick away for 3 mid first rounders. Sure the team has many holes to fill but with players such as Joe Johnson and Rodney White available, three role players do not makeup for the type of pick that you need to build a nucleus around. Not only is the philosphy wrong but the picks were not great ones. Did somebody say Westsiiiiiiide?

Look for Joe Johnson to be one of the best players to come out of this draft and landing him at the 10 spot was fortunate, giving the Celtics a third legit future NBA star to build around.
nice call there
The trade of Brand for Chandler was in a word, masterful. Not only do the Bulls get rid of a peaking Brand, they add two of the top three young talents in the draft. Plus they keep themselves in great position to stay near the absolute bottom of the league and pickup another gem in next years draft. Between Chandler and Curry, one of the two will eventually make Elton Brand look like mince meat.

The Warriors gave everyone the first real surprise of the draft passing on more highly touted Eddie Griffin for Jason Richardson. Richarsdson has the potential to be one of the elite shooting guards and athletes in the entire NBA. This was a great draft choice, and while Richardson may not impress immediately, he will eventually turn out to be a dynamite selection.
another nice call.
Michael Jordan took his time evaluating players and contemplating trades, and in the end he stayed true to his word and drafted as if he wasn't coming back and grabbed the top talent with the most upside potential in the draft. With Kwame, it's not just his game that grabs you. It's the way in which he speaks and carries himself.
Kwame got an A grade.

Funny to read some of that stuff. As always, the draftnicks are right in some cases and wrong on others.
If you go back and read a lot of the stuff on Marvin, his grades were through the roof too, and people weren't nearly as critical of the pick at the time. Now the Chad Ford's and Mark Stein's of the world want to act like they knew CP3 was destined for greatness the whole time.
