Wizards-Pacers
Anyone going to be watching this one on LP tonight? I know I will. It would be nice if the Wiz could pull this one out and allow our starters to rest and relax a little over the next couple of days.
I don't expect it!

I think the Hawks take it to the last day to get into the playoffs and do this thing the hard way like they have been doing all year. We are still short of being consistent, but getting in the playoffs is getting in the playoffs.
You know Boston will be ready and I would guess they would rather go up against the Pacers than the Hawks simply based on the athletes on this team.
I don't think Indy lays down tonight.

Hey guys - Wizards fan (and mod) here.
Both Indy and the Wiz have something to play for...perhaps Indy more than us. However, Wizards seem dead serious about trying to win out and hope that Cleveland - who's been looking out-of-synch lately - loses out so we can move into 4th. So we won't be tanking here in DC.
Issue: Nagging injuries. Caron Butler (bruised knee) and Gilbert (recovering from knee surgery) didn't attend shoot-around this morning and may not play. Though both want to play tonight. Add to that, starting PG Antonio Daniels (sprained wrist); F Antawn Jamison (recovering from a sprained shoulder) and G DeShawn Stevenson (banged-up knee and ankle) are not 100% and that impacts how well our team will be able to play.
Anyway, hope we win tonight and ATL can rest up b4 the playoffs.
Southeast Div FTW!

The Wizards have been dealing with injuries all year. This is nothing new. They have deep team.

The Wizards push the lead right back up. You would expect a team in a must win game(this is literally a must win)to make a run at some point but it hasn't happened. Granger is doing his best to get them back in the game though.
I wonder if Washington will have enough money left over to sign Roger Mason if they plan on resigning both Jamison and Arenas. He seems like he would be a nice player to have off the bench.

I have thought the same thing. I watch the Wizards more than any team other than the Hawks since i live near DC.
Mason is a combo guard who doesnt drive or rebound much and isn't really a playmaker but he can't hit 3s (even off the dribble), take care of the ball and is a decent defender.
Haha i just checked his stats and he takes 4 treys a game in only 21 minutes, shooting 39% from 3. He isn't shy.
