A WIN GOING INTO THE PLAYOFFS WOULD BE NICE

Rest...but be prepared to make a name for yourself against Boston

I guess Joe might start so he has 82 games to his name this season.

Other than that I want to see if Law-Richardson-West-Solo remember how to play basketball.

Would be nice to see Salim get his rythm for the playoffs. Maybe get some confidence for Zaza.

Don't need anyone else playing more than 10-15...

I'm a big Kasim Powell fan so this game is extra exciting for me.

When you go 5-5 for 11pts and 4 asst (0 TO) in 16 minutes of playing time not having playing in weeks... yeah I think he knows the game a lil bit. It's puzzling why Woody hasn't played him in previous important games. Childress can't run the PG spot. He can't even create his own shot most of the time, let alone create for others.

Its funny that the announcers pointed out (well...Steve and Nique) that playing with Childress as the point removes his effectiveness on the court completely. And I agree.

I don't understand why Acie got benched(his last performances before the benchings were not bad...just that Memphis game) but you can come up with a sort of justifiable reason for him not wanting to play the rook in the most important stretch of the season.

There is no excuse for Salim to not have gotten more minutes.

I think that it is funny to watch Law when he has no worries about getting pulled for a mistake. Completely different player than when he plays scared to make a mistake other times.

I think Horford will play, but not many minutes.

For the playoff we are going to play Law OR Salim, not both of them. It has been very clear that we can't leave Bibs on the bench for very long, so one of those guys will end up spelling him. If the last week has been any indication, that guy will be Salim.

Anyone else think Miami would fall so fast? I mean, I didn't think they'd make the playoffs before the season started but wow!

You think Woody wants to get 38 wins so he can put "8 game improvement" on his resume' for this season?

I didn't think they'd make the playoffs, but I thought they would win over 30. 14. Ouch. What's even more shocking to me is that D-Wade was active for over 50 games and they only won 14 total.

Yeah, but he was injured as hell. Not that PER is a perfect tool but it gives you a snapshot, he had 29.04 last season and 21.67 this season. His first step was visibly slower.

0 minutes for Law in the 1st half so far after going 4-4 in under 20 minutes yesterday. It's looking like another failure for Woody. I have no idea why are regular players are playing so much against Joel Anthony and Stephen Lasme. Looks like the Hawks are in for another dogfight against no name players(last night Garrity and Reddick).Woody just can't get anything right.

I know he was really hurt. I'm shocked they didn't shut him down earlier. He wasn't as effective. The team wasn't effective. It was obvious something was wrong. I hope he didn't hurt himself long term by playing in what turned out to be meaningless outings.

I realize the game doesn't matter, but it can't build confidence that our starting rotation is dead even with an assortment of fill in Heat players. Better to play the reserves than the starters given the situation.

Law is not playing because Salim has clearly outplayed him for the backup PG spot for the playoffs. So we are giving him as many minutes as possible to prepare him for the postseason, Law is an afterthough by now it seems.

WE ARE PLAYING THE HEAT...... WE ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS.......

Play both Law and Salim, get there confidence up. Not to mention Solo and Mario and Jeremey.

When did I say Salim shouldn't play? Josh neither is going to play in the playoffs BTW so it means nothing. The reason I'm upset is because this game means nothing yet we are still playing it as if it's a regular game. How is playing our regular players against NBDL players going to benefit us? The fact is Woody is an awful coach who for some reason has actually tried to win these lasy two games when they have no effect on the standings. The ONLY thing that could have been gained by these last 2 games is seeing how our bench(Law/Salim/Solo/West/Jrich)looked in the flow of a regular game. You said yourself that Joe and Bibby shouldn't play and that the scrubs should play 30-35 minutes during this game....what has changed since then? Seeing Josh Smith dunk vs 3rd string players does not entertain me.

Salim or Law will see the floor at some point in the playoffs. There is no way that we can play 7 players every single game. One of them is going to get those 3-5 minutes in a few games while Bibby ress.

I think we'll see the starters sit the bench most of this half.
