Classy

Post#1 » by freddiebutch » Sun Apr 27, 2008 4:27 am

Forgive me for trolling but,

the hawks seemed like they thought they won game 7 of the finals after tonight (i guess thats what happens when you win for the first time in the playoffs in over 9 years).

Bunch of young punks talking a little too much. Rookies and youngster shouldnt be running their mouths at all star vets like that. Maybe a wee bit too excited, no?

Monday should be very interesting.

Boston is where I look to for class. I guess our guys should just sit back and respectfully take all the trash said by vets like KG? That makes sense.

How dare the Hawks actually celebrate a win! Only KG and Sam Cassell get to do that!

I thought Raptors fans were the only one who did this but still. Why do fans think that they/we represent the players actions? Why the hell did you post this on the Hawks board(where no players read)for being mad at Al Horford?

How can you get mad at the players for being excited? Do you realize this is the 1st major win some of our players(particularly Josh Smith)have had in years? I bet this does feel like a game 7 win to them and it should.

BTW Horford is the man. Thank you Billy for leaving us with atleast one good lottery pick before you leave town.

I am glad Horford got in Pierce's face because I never liked Pierce and always thought he was overrated.

Last year he didn't want no part in a green uni, now this past summer wanted to be in every pic with KG and Allen like they just traded for Pierce too. No Pierce, you were part of the crappy team, before KG and Allen got there.

That's what flopers who cry about everything get. Horford plays hard and physical he don't flop and he lets them know/.

Did you also chastise KG for excessive celebration in game 2? I know he's a vet, but shouldn't that mean he's been their before? I mean it was only the 2nd game of a series at home over a team that his Celtics were favored by double digits.

It's called emotion and both teams are entitled to have it, you don't have to be voted a fan favorite before your allowed to express it. Furthermore, it really felt like KG, et al were attempting to intimidate the Hawks by running their mouths after every play. As such maybe you should just take the Atlanta reaction as a declaration that they aren't going to be intimidated by antics of your All Star vets.

Win or loss on Monday don't expect the Hawks players to bow down and kiss the Celtics players rings.

Yeah, lets ignore the fact that Sam Cassell was grabbing his **** after hitting a couple of 3s vs us in the regular season, that was just so classy. Screw off you sore losers, I will laugh when you come short of the title after all of the hype you had..as the Lakers have shown so far vs the Nuggets and the Spurs vs the Suns, both are better than you..and Bibby was right, most of you are fairweather frontrunning losers who can't spell the word loyal.

I have to agree with Hawks fans on this. Celtics (and especially KG) go apesh*t taunting all the time.

And I am tired of Raps fans, and now Celtics fans thinking the NBA wants us to win. Then why have we been the laughing stock of the NBA then? Not anymore. We got more young talent than 90% of teams and there fans hate it.

It's cool for the Hawks players to celebrate, they just beat a #1 seed and it's the 1st playoff game win of a lot of their guys careers. For the Celtics to act like they just won the title after games 1 and 2 was a lot more (Please Use More Appropriate Word) actually. Actually it's really **** stupid considering they were the favorites to sweep this series and they're talking trash to a bunch of guys 2/3 their age. KG and Pierce need to act like vets, like Jerry Rice did when he scored TDs. He didn't do a bunch of celebrations and dances and trash talking he was just like "been there, done that, not really that special".

For the Celts players and FANS to act like this just proves Bibby's point, that Boston is full of bandwagoners who don't know how to act like fans and instead are like "wtf we're not the only ones allowed to be excited over wins?" and the Boston players doing all that **** talking but then when they lose they get their feelings hurt? Ron Artest basically said the same thing when the Celtics played the Kings at Arco and were shocked when things got phsyical. If the current Boston team and current Boston fans had been there and done that before, like they claim they have with their history, they wouldn't be acting like a bunch of trash talkers and celebrating like they just won game 7 of the finals when they win their 1st playoff games. Just proves they haven't been there before, haven't done it, and the majority of the current celtic fans haven't been there before either.
