RISE UP ATLANTA!!

This game is crucial....and if the crowd and emotions that were present in yesterday's game, and the attitude and the tenacity in which the Hawks played, this should be a great series!

But in order to assure that Boston HAS to come back to Philips Arena after game four....is a Game four victory!

Our athleticism is starting to give them problems and I am sure that the "war of words" isn't done.

I'm sorry, but there is no chance we play with such an effort and J-Smoove is shoots that well and gets so many dunk opportunities again.

^I would've said the same thing about Rondo after Game 1.

Congrats guys on the win. I feel even lower (not intended to be personal) now.

I'm not superstitious. I've made alot of game threads for which the Hawks later lost.

What I will encourage is an open and honest discussion on the part of HMFFL about game threads and how they affect the overall traffic on this forum in a positive or in some instances negative way.

But I will remember this when it comes to posting inside info on here in future. I will still read the post, but I will keep all confidential info to my self. (And no HoopsGuru I don't know anyone on the team, I work on the inside with the team. Everything I say on here is factual.)

Your right, a great game thread will keep this board exciting. During this time of the year we need things to stay exciting and most of all our Hawks are now coming off a big win. On the other hand I'm just thankful that others are jumping on this, but I do understand all your points, and game 4 is yours if you want it.

Some of you might understand what the big deal is. Game threads make your home board look better and give you a good rep (mostly the creator). Just look how gsuteke and other game thread creators for other boards get praised. The best game thread creators put hours into their work.

404, your text game threads are basically looked at as an insult to the creative minds, and that's probably why gsuteke has had his comments about it. For instance, mavsfoty on the Dallas forum has been reserved the right to create every game thread for the Mavericks up until tip off. I was even trumped by him and all I was looking to do was have a thread up asap. It's some posters way to fame on the board and I'm sure it boost their confidence. From the board standpoint many look at game threads as a good vibe going into the game and it lifts the spirit of the boards. Look at other boards if you don't believe me. So, text game threads are better served for the regular season.

Your game threads are the best here and aren't matched by anyone else. So, if you don't make one, you need to understand that it's whatever goes up is going to be the case. I'm not putting time in to make them like I once did, it takes hours at times, so even with mine their going to be just a step above 404's.

I can take the heat 404. You can view me how you want or the decisions I make for this board. It's rather simple, we won, and the creator of that thread should have the option to make the next thread. As a mod it can fall on me, but Hoops spoke up before I did, and I didn't intend on brining it up unless an issue came up.

Maybe you should use it as away to spice your game threads up. Find a picture, right click, click properties, copy/paste the link, and put it inside [img]Link[/img].

Any inside information you can provide for the team is appreciated. However, I honestly could careless, so a threat about not posting any is on you, and it's one that doesn't bother me at all. It's not like we have a weekly blog from you of inside information about the Hawks. Your really coming off like you have a big head after posting about the Hawks future jersey colors.

I'm focused on filling the Atlanta boards and whatever board I look after with as much information related to the team as possible. I don't have time to focus on minor inside information about a team, posters that are among the least active, and the last thing I need is drama from a message board.

404...please keep up the inside info anyway. We def appreciate it always.

Yeah 404 please keep posting, I enjoy reading what you have to say quite a bit. Don't let a little thing like this deter you.

I will say one thing, I'm not good enough to make these game threads, but the game is tommorow so it would be best if one was already up. What's wrong with 404 just getting some discussion going?

I wasn't trying to snub you 404. I was just saying that it would probably be better if we just let gsu have the 1st shot at the next game thread because he made the last game thread and we won(yes it's lame but just about every other board does it as well). Obviously he doesn't have a problem with it so it's no big deal.
