he always writes fair editorials. He didn't belittle the Hawks just stated what many people think in a rational manner.

The Hawks can only make believers

if we win this series.

We can hope, we can think they can compete, but the Hawks have to do it on the road at least 1 time this series. This is the best chance.

It will take an effort we haven't seen out of these guys against a top tier team. We usually don't show up for whatever reason.

If JJ gets doubled, we need 2 guys to step up and take up the slack.

Tonight could be very historical for this city.

Ryan really didn't say anything special other than teams have come in and been here before. He wasn't touting the Hawks at all. He boasts as to how Boston has always closed out their opponent in this scenario.

Truth is, if Boston loses, it will be more on them than saying the Hawks executed better. It just works that way, and the Hawks will not get the respect of Boston or national writers for that matter.

no he said we were more talented than our record indicated obviously. that we figured out how to play in those Home games and to me that's saying a lot from what most national writers throw out. he even said the very talented Atlanta Hawks.

He also said the Hawks didn't have a chance to win a game before the series started.

so did most people who didn't watch the Hawks for 82 games this season. I won't fault the man for seeing 30+ wins vs. 60+ wins and a 4-0 celtic series as completely viable. But, unlike others he's willing to give us our do. Unlike others. To me thats what good journalism is. These guys aren't supposed to be a hundred percent right. Being wrong about something is human. Offering a mi a culpea even more so.

Not my point Sultan

To me, all Ryan said was Boston has taken care of Game 5 every time with the exception of one year.
I hear him saying don't expect anything different this year.

I don't get where the love is.......most teams love your roster when they have the advantage over you.
