Somebody was complaining about Marvin Williams and how hes not doing so hot and somebody said "Marvin is going to have a break out game" well whoever said that was right.

IDK who said that, but I have always been behind Marvin and tonight makes it more great to watch for me.

We just need one more good game from Marvin.

^ No because after we beat Boston, he has to guard LBJ. LOL.

I haven't been the best supporter of Marvin

But give the man his due. He was special tonight. He stepped up and kept us in the game. By far, his best game of the series.

I hope he takes his jumper with him to Boston. It will take him being clutch one more time for us to shock the world.

But since I argue with alot of you all about keeping Marvin, since alot of you all don't, now do you all agree with me that we should keep him?

It just depends

If you could get something special for him and strengthen our defense.

I am 50/50 on him right now.

I would like for him to be more consistent in consecutive games.

I would also now after tonight like to keep Chill too. Hope we could re-sign Chill and Marvin for cheaper than we think. That would be great. 2 great role players for what were doing.

What I learned tonight about Chills; he is 2nd in the NBA for a non-starter. Care to guess who has the best average as a 6th man?

Hint: he currently is making $9M and will escalate to 9.9M and 10.7M in the next 2 years.

Be prepared to pay for Chills to keep doing what he is doing. The numbers may have to be just a little less than the top 6th man.

Marvin in making 4.4 this year, followed by 5.6 and 7.3 in the next 2 years. He is not a concern yet, but will be soon enough.

Bucks fan here, how about Michael Redd and CV for Marvin Williams, Bibby, and 1st rnd pick.

Tonight just proves what we've been saying all along, Marvin Williams is the key to this series. When the doubles come to JJ, he is the guy that is left wide open.

We don't have a 1st round pick, so the earliest first we could trade anyone is 2010. Outside of that I'm still not willing to pull the trigger on that trade although I could see Bibby for Redd straight up if you guys want a do over on that massive contract. (I'd play Redd at the 2 and Joe at the 3 and use Marvin to get a PG to push it (maybe Ford)).

dallas- just fyi the Hawks will be able to trade their first round pick in 09 if they want to after Draft night.

I rather put J-Smoove on him, because they have nobody else that can beat us down low. BTW Horford on Z.

Lets worry about game 7 before we worry about the Cavs and LeBron.

Fair enough. Just wanted to indicate it would be a pick this year. Frankly that offer doesn't deserve a pick thrown in. Taking Redd's deal off their hands for an expiring contract is enough value if they're trying to rebuild or restructure.

I would take it if you just take out the 1st rounder. I am not fond of Bibby at all. Marvin might become a good player but right now he is just ok.

Teams wouldn't be able to constantly double JJ with Redd on the floor.

Well unfortunately it doesn't look like Marvin will be able to go in Game 7. Terrible break for the Hawks.

And just SMH at all the fools talking about how we match up with Cleveland.

I swear you people are absurdly bipolar.

First you bash the team all year and now you're overlooking the best team in the NBA like the biggest upset in sports history is just a gimme?
