Maybe for another team no way he does that here in Atlanta not with the emergence of Al Horford and you know Josh Smith will be improved he has done it every summer. We def. have to look to trade this clumsy one dimensional jump shooter.

More fans at the arena could easily translate into 45 wins next season. The team needs to energy like it was during the playoffs against Boston. The problem is figuring out how to win on the road and stop playing scared.

Marvin's shooting range should improve next year which will help turn his 15 points to 18.

Marvin has attempted 11 shots per game over the last two seasons. It's going to be nearly impossible for him to average 18 points per/game if he continues to only attempt 11 shots and doesn't have a 3 ball. He'd need to take shots away from the rest of the starters, as I expect Al to average more, Mike will get his, and Joe/Josh Smith will average the majority. Marvin better come out gunning if he's going to achieve what your predicting.

The main thing Marvin needs to improve on is his rebounding. There is no excuse for a player of his length to have such problems on the boards.

Josh Smith will be an All-Star reserve

1. Josh Smith will make his first all-star team.
2. Al Horford will make his first all-star team and emerge as the cornerstone of the franchise.
3. Marvina Williams will either be relegated to the bench, traded for a post player or a young point guard, or become an all-star for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream.
4. Mike Woodson will garner some votes for coach of the year.
5. Chris Paul will win the MVP and Billy Knight will start to be referred to as one of the worst GM's in the history of the league.
6. The Spirit will make SEVERAL horrible, cowardly, cheap, and disastrous decisions.

number 6 isn't much of a bold prediction , that's just a matter of time.

That's why the thread title is Bold Predictions.

That is one dumb thread. How can someone predict how a player will do next season when this season's playoffs aren't over yet? Geez, we don't even know for sure if Smith is gonna be in ATL next season, so why bother with his stats now?
I understand that you can have fun predicting that kind of crap, even though it's based purely on personal achievement rather than team success, but you have to understand that this league can change a whole lot in one single offseason.

someone is in need of a blowjob.
this is suppose to be fun , you don't have to call this thread dumb , this is a atlanta hawks thread , i'm simply making a "Bold Predictions" thread , you don't have to shoot everyone down for thinking.

Ok ladies, let's calm down here. There's nothing wrong with having a little fun predicting stats, but as an Atlanta Hawks fan i'm still high on our last season's success that to me, all that matters right now is to see the hawks in the playoffs again in 09 and get better. And with all what's happening around this organization lately (BK resigned, Woodson might be on his way out, players resignings, etc), I feel like there is much more else to be excited about and to talk about that to "bold predictions on player's stats" next year while they might not be here at the season's tipoff.
Sorry you took it so personnaly. Thanks for the blowjob advice, it really did help.
